The story of Indian Shellac Industries began in 2002, founded by Mr. Subhash Chandra Jayaswal, a seasoned expert with over five decades of experience in the Lac industry. His journey in this field started in 1968, where he served as Branch Head at Bardhan Brothers Pvt. Ltd., part of the SSJ Group, in Dhamtari. With his extensive knowledge and vision, Mr. Jayaswal established Indian Shellac Industries to bring together expertise in Lac production and lead the company towards becoming a prominent manufacturer and exporter of natural, sustainable products like Seedlac and Shellac.

His long-standing dedication to the Lac industry has been instrumental in shaping the company's mission to prioritize eco-friendly practices and quality, aligning with their guiding principle of "Give Green A Chance."
